Rough Birdseye @ $5/sq ft in varying widths and lengths.

Our birdseye maple is sourced from Hard Maple trees and the figure is only seen in approximately 1% of all maple trees. This, along with it's distinct look, makes birdseye maple a rare and sought after grain for woodworkers. It is used to make guitar necks, small cabinets, jewelry boxes, and various other items.

Birdseye maple is not a distinct species of maple. It is the name given to the particular grain anomaly found in maple species, such as hard maple, due to the tiny knots in the grain resembling bird’s eyes.
