Eastern White Cedar Tongue & Groove paneling is most commonly used for basic Exterior finishing applications because of it's resistance to weathering, rot, and insects. Boards can also be used for carpentry, hobbies, furniture, shelving, and general finish work, with a warmer feel than many other species. Eastern White Cedar has low shrinkage and is worked very easily by hand and machine tools. The product is easy to glue and has good nailing and screw holding properties. The paint or stain retention properties are excellent and it is easily treated with preservatives.
These "outs" did not make the grade for another one of our orders due to any number of factors, such as knots, stain, and splitting. If you aren't hung up on the above, this material may be a good fit for your needs. We recommend accounting for 35% waste when purchasing this product. Customer must take entire bundle.
