With Murray Bros.' Board & Batten material, you can make your next siding project look timeless. This pattern utilizes a rougher-headed sawn finish to create a nice texture to the board. Please note that because this is outs, there will be waste associated with blue stain and cracks, though the majority of pieces with these defects can still be used to make batten strips. 

Traditionally, board and batten siding starts with wide vertical planks (boards), which are then joined together by thin vertical strips (battens) to cover the seams. Homesteaders and farmers would use this pattern to make the structure as airtight as possible. Today, board and batten finishing is a classic look at an affordable price.

This is outs material due to defects in the material, including stain, cracks, and rot. Murray Bros. recommends customers order 25% more than required for their project to account for waste.
